Plot
Pootie Tang, who is a folk hero of the ghetto and a ladies’ man, has always been a role model for children. Everyone looks up to him except Dick Lecter (played by Robert Vaughn), CEO of LectorCorp, a company that makes cigarettes, alcohol, and fast food. He attempts to steal Pootie's magic belt and get him to endorse their addictive products. Pootie has to defeat the corporation for the good of everyone, but without his belt he struggles to win.'''Tagline:''' ''Too cool for words''
Magic Belt
* Pootie Tang inherits a belt from his dad that he uses as his weapon of choice. Daddy Tang used this belt to teach Pootie the difference between right and wrong.* It is later revealed that the belt is not magical.

* Pootie Tang Drives a Blue Chevrolet Corvette, more importantly he sports his own custom license plates that read "Cleepa" with no state ID.* The late 90's singing sensation 702 performed the movie's theme song "Pootie Tangin'"
* The film's cult following formalized in 2002 to form The Pootie Tang Coalition. This group of college students preach the movie's qualities to unaware youth. The Coalition's President, Sawyer Carter Jacobs, is currently a student at George Washington University, pursuing a major in Political Science and Public Policy.
