'''''Lila Says''''' (French title: ''Lila dit ça'') is a 2004 French film directed by Ziad Doueiri. The plot is based on the novel of the same title written by "Chimo" (a pseudonym).

Plot

Chimo (played by Mohammed Khouas), a shy nineteen-year-old Muslim poet/writer, falls for Lila (Vahina Giacante), a beautiful blonde girl who just moved in with her aunt in an Arab ghetto. One day Lila asks Chimo to look up her skirt — if he can handle it. Meanwhile, Mouloud (Karim Ben Haddou), the brash leader of the 'gang' in which he is pulling away from, also sets his sights on Lila.
