Teen With Peanut Allergy Dies After Kiss
A terribly sad story out of Quebec. A 15-year-old girl with a peanut allergy died after kissing her boyfriend, who had just eaten a peanut butter snack, hospital officials said Monday.
Christina Desforges died in a Quebec hospital Wednesday after doctors were unable to treat her allergic reaction to the kiss the previous weekend.
Girlfriends Against Video Games
Are some guys spending just a bit to much time thwarting the vile forces of a wind demon known as Vaati?
A group of upset girlfriends at Kansas State University thinks so. They’ve started the group “Girlfriends Against Video Games” as a support group for women whose boyfriends spend way too much time gaming.
Some of these gamers sound like they actually have a problem. One explained, “When the next week started, I played continuously, like every day. Probably four to five hours a day, maybe more.� The girlfriend of another complained, �He has a campus job, and campus jobs don’t pay very much at all. Then he gets his paycheck and spends it all on video games.�

Romantic love ‘lasts just a year’
That’s what Italian scientists believe. According to the Beeb, The University of Pavia found a brain chemical was likely to be responsible for the first flush of love.
Researchers said raised levels of a protein was linked to feelings of euphoria and dependence experienced at the start of a relationship. But after studying people in long and short relationships and single people, they found the levels receded in time.

They were high school sweethearts, and even though she was thousands of miles away, attending college on the alternate coast, they were staying together. I told him it would never work. Online daters sue dating web sites for fraud
Get this.
“Match.com is accused in a federal lawsuit of goading members into renewing their subscriptions through bogus romantic e-mails sent out by company employees. In some instances, the suit contends, people on the Match payroll even went on sham dates with subscribers as a marketing ploy.”
And this.
“In a separate suit, Yahoo’s personals service is accused of posting profiles of fictitious potential dating partners on its website to make it look as though many more singles subscribe to the service than actually do.”
