Mr. Gibson has the same right to be an obnoxious drunk as anyone else. It is obvious that Mr. Gibson is suffering alcie's remorse, so let it go already. Who has not uttered embarrasing words while under the influence?

Mel is only human and like everyone else, he has said or done something wrong, and wish he could take it back. Only a perfect person has the right to judge another. Funny, but I haven't seen a perfect person w/o sin yet. In my book the only one that has the right to judge people is God. If I was to judge others, there would be a lot that would make Mel look more of a saint than anything else. I won't name names, because the truth hurts, and they always come back saying..what they do in their personal life is their thing, or whatever. People make excuses for the really wrong (bad) people (let them off the hook), while others that do a lot less is talked about like a dog. I am getting so sick of people saying Mel knew everything he was doing or saying while drunk and meant what he said.
Not true. I had a friend tell me that a family member got drunk, didn't know how she got home, and could recall what she said or did the next day.
