Early life

Career

Before his debut on ''Scrubs'', he became famous for his role as Murray Lawrence Duvall in ''Clueless'', the 1995 movie and the subsequent television series, which ran from 1996 to 1999. In 1995, he appeared in ''Waiting to Exhale'' as Tarik, the son of Loretta Devine's character, Gloria. He also had a recurring role as Tracy on ''Felicity'', appeared in ''Remember the Titans'' as Petey, and provided voice work for various characters in the MTV animated series ''Clone High''.

His acting career began at childhood when he attended the Children's School for the Development of Intuitive and God-Conscious Art and the Professional Children's School in New York.

As a producer for season 4 episode 3 of MTV's ''Punk'd''

In 2005, Faison produced his first television show, working with Ashton Kutcher on MTV's ''Punk'd'' for one episode (season 4 episode 3) in which Faison helped Ashton Kutcher set this prank up for Braff. The prank idea was originated, reportedly, when Faison approached Kutcher and said "Listen, we got to get Zach Braff." He later successfully tricked Braff with the help of Rob Pinkston, who as the character of a juvenile delinquent asked ''Scrubs''' stars Donald Faison and Zach Braff to buy him beer. When both Braff and Faison refused, Pinkston and his friends vandalized Braff's brand new $100,000 Porsche, getting caught in the act. Braff was enraged until Kutcher, with two of the kids, revealed himself to Braff and saying, "I saw the whole thing go down, and I got these two!"

Private life

Faison has filed for divorce from Lisa Askey, after marrying in 2001. They have 3 children together, and Faison has one other from a previous relationship.

He is also brother to Olamide Faison from 90s R&B group Imajin.
