Brittny Gastineau

'''Brittny Gastineau''' (born 11 November 1982) is the daughter of former American Football player Mark Gastineau, whom she has not seen in 17 years, and Lisa Gastineau, with whom she stars on E!'s reality TV show ''The Gastineau Girls''. Brittny also starred in another E! reality series, ''Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive''.

She attended University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to study event planning before leaving to live with her mother in New York City where she is a socialite, currently trying to pursue a career in acting and modeling.
She has been told she would need to lose a little more weight to be more valuable as a model. As seen on the show, she has also demonstrated a lack of motivation and drive. Despite this, she has received some work, such as an European advertising campaign for L'Oréal.

Brittny was a guest star on ''The View'' and has appeared on the covers and the inside of several magazines including ''Stuff'', ''Hamptons Magazine'', ''Lucire'' and was also named in ''Maxim'' magazine's ‘Hot 100’ for 2005, coming in at number 60.

---------------

Brittny Gastineau is an American born socialite, model and actress. Born on November 11, 1982, her parents are former New York Jets defensive end Mark Gastineau and Lisa Gastineau. Her parents were divorced after Mark announced his engagement to actress Brigitte Nielsen, even though he was still married to Lisa and the pair hadn't been separated.

During the divorce, Brittny lived with her grandparents in Tuscalusa, Alabama. After graduating high school, she attended the University of Alabama, following in the footsteps of her famous parents. After just three semesters, Brittny dropped out and moved back to Manhattan in her mother's ritzy Upper East Side penthouse.

She began to seek employment as a model and within weeks she had shot a spread with Stuff magazine. During an interview conducted with the magazine, Brittny expressed her desire to film a reality television show with her mother Lisa. Networks immediatley began a bidding war, eventually won by The E! Network. "Gastineau Girls" went into production shortly thereafter.

The show became a ratings giant for the network, drawing an impressive 4.5 million viewers for its season premiere, trumping the channel's previous record set by The Anna Nicole Smith Show. The program developed a cult following, drawing nearly 2 million viewers a week.

Following the success of the show, opportunities for Brittny increased. She walked runways for Anne Bowen and Anna Sui during NYC fashion week, signed an endorsement deal with L'Oreal Paris, and became the face of high end casual wear designer Ed Hardy. She appeared on the cover of Stepping Out, Hamptons and Lucire magazines. In 2005, she was ranked #60 on Maxim's Hot 100 list.

Following the success of "Gastineau Girls", Brittny signed onto another E! Network reality show, Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive. Produced by Joe Simpson (father of Jessica & Ashlee Simpson), cameras followed the privileged children of celebrities working on a Colorado cattle ranch. The show wasn't as successful, but it did keep Brittny's name and image in the public eye.

That winter, the E! network premiered a second season of "Gastineau Girls", which proved to be even more popular than the first. Brittny became the spokes-person for AOL, and became the first celebrity to create a podcast for iTunes. Again teaming with her mother Lisa, the ladies were offered opportunities to write articles for OK! Magazine, and also landed a book deal.

Today, Brittny lives in L.A. with her boyfriend, record producer Richard Voll. She is currently signed to the Elite Modeling Management Agency where she is a celebrity model and actress.
