'''Anne Haney''' (Born Anne Ryan Thomas on March 4, 1934 in Memphis, Tennessee, USA, died May 26, 2001 in Studio City, California of heart failure) was an American actress. She was married to John Haney, until his death in 1980, and with whom she had a daughter named Melissa. She began her acting career soon after her husband's death. She met him at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she had been studying drama, radio and television. After his death, she moved to southern California. She appeared in the ''Star Trek: The Next Generation'' episode "The Survivors" as Rishon Uxbridge, and later appeared as a Bajoran arbitrator in the ''Star Trek: Deep Space Nine'' episode "Dax". She was a regular guest-star during the syndicated run of ''Mama's Family'', playing Thelma Harper's nemesis Alberta Meechum.
