Charles and Camilla: The Wedding of the…Weekend
Television network TLC continues its lame attempt to create a ratings bonanza around the wedding no one cares about: Charles and Camilla.
In what’s shaping up to be the royal wedding of the, ehm, weekend, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles are set to marry Saturday in a ceremony marked by apathy around the globe.
Undeterred by this record-breaking level of unrestrained disinterest on the part of the public, TLC is broadcasting a sweeping retrospective program documenting the royal relationship.
I’m sure the documentary will be a riveting account that will inspire indifference and ennui among its viewers. I know I certainly had planned to watch it. Unfortunately, I have to finish my taxes.
