The Amazing Race
The Amazing Race is my saving grace when I tell people I enjoy reality television. Even the biggest naysayers will usually concede that this show has its’ merits. The current season has strayed a bit from its’ original content. There are fewer folks that we can relate and more duos that look to be genetically engineered.
I know it is all about the ratings but the influx of models and pro wrestlers has veered away from what made the show appealing to begin with. I also find myself cringing whenever Jonathan and Victoria get any face time. He is an abusive a*!hole and she plays the most neurotic victim I have seen on any show…reality broadcast or not.So with all that being said I can no longer put Amazing Race on my reality TV pedestal. With the likes of Lori and Bolo don’t have a leg to stand on.
