Vanessa Williams and Rick Fox finally divorced
Rick Fox has filed for divorce from the actress/singer. Entertainment Tonight first reported the split Monday night.
“They are both extremely devoted parents, so the most important thing to them right now is the welfare of their child,” Staci Wolfe, a spokeswoman for Fox, said in reference to 4-year-old Sasha. “They are committed to working out what’s best for her.”
Of course, the Celtics might not get Fox, either. At 35, having played 13 years in the NBA, he is considering retirement. He has his own acting career to consider, having drawn solid reviews for the movie “He Got Game” and the HBO series “Oz.”
The two have been married for five years and have a 4-year-old daughter, Sasha, said Staci Wolfe, Fox’s spokeswoman.
Williams, who won the Miss America pageant in 1984, has three children from her first marriage, and Fox has a son from a previous relationship. The two had been separated.
Several gossip mags published this beyond-incriminating pic taken at a bar in Honolulu “during the team’s preseason training camp in October” and reported “Rick was with the beauty for a long time … they danced, they hugged, they kissed passionately.
This picture must of really blindsighted the former Miss America, realizing that her pro-athlete hubby could cheat.
