It is apparent that Toni knows what works and what doesn’t. Cheesy lines may get an initial laugh but for me the more genuine approach will always intrigue me a bit more.
Some good opening line suggestions:
- Do you know so and so?
- I noticed you were enjoying the music a lot, isn’t this a great band?
- Your drink looks good- what is it?
- I noticed you standing here alone and thought you may want some company.
There has to be some sort of initial physical attraction so inevitably there will be some rejection involved. Yes there was no spinach in your teeth and you put on an acceptble amount of deodorant, but there needs to be some sizzle.
Don’t get all down on yourself if there’s no spark.
“If you let the fear keep you from taking that first step, you will greatly lessen your chances of meeting and connecting with compatible singles.”
