When Geeks Give Up
Some people are so negative. They don’t even try. I know getting a date — let alone an actual girlfriend — is difficult when you’re a geek. But that’s no reason to stop trying. Even if the statistics don’t support this option.
Tristan Miller does the math and eloquently elucidates why he, a prototypical geek, will never have a girlfriend. Please don’t let this deter you.

I have a much simpler set of numbers than Miller’s with the same bottom line :
Half the women I would be interested in could “do better”.
The other half THINK they could do better…..
