Missed Connection? Just Give it Up
The whole idea of a “missed connection” assumes you reasonably may have “connected” with someone to begin with, if only fate hadn’t intervened. Isn’t it a bit presumptuous, then, that so many of the “Missed Connections” listings on Craigslist have not fate to blame but the poster’s own stupidity/vapidness/etc.?
The blog CityFlirting does an admirable job of deconstructing some of these posts.
